Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., graduated from Morehouse College, Crozer Theological Seminary. The son of the pastor of the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, King was ordained in 1947 and became a priest of a Baptist church in Montgomery. He led the black boycott of segregated city bus lines and in 1956 gained a major victory and as a civil-rights leader when Montgomery buses began to operate on a desegregated basis. He argued and beleived that black people should be able to have the same rules or rights as white people. He got shot on April 4,1968.He lived with Grandparents becuse his parents didn't love him.
One of his most popular speech was I Have a Dream. He was the first person along with Rosa parks to stand up for them selfs and other people. If they had never stood up for them selfs and other people the world would still be the same. Now thanks to them we have a free contry and black people have the same rights as us.
